Gothic Horror Glam

Right in time for Halloween the goth look is back. The Autumn 08 collections were filled with gothic glamour and models dressed from head to toe in black.

The Givenchy collection was by no means an exception to this, with models sporting tailored black jackets and suits. I like this piece however, much more of a feminine out fit that could be incorporated into my wardrobe. On this note I would also like to mention how much I adored some of the more vampiric inspired items of the Rodarte collection...

These pieces demonstrate a very delicate and feminine way to pull of the gothic look. I really love the fact that the dress on the right moves so freely. Two very gorgeous pieces that can translate very well to high street fashion.

The PPQ Party Dress

I love love love this dress; most likely the main reason for this is that it's PPQ (I adore PPQ). But also I just love the tiered sculpture of the dress, an understated addition to the typical party outfit. I also love the varied tones within this dress. Ultimately, it''s so very pretty but also so very sophisticated....

Dear Diary...

Catwalk Diaries was created in the hope to further share the fashion frenzy as well as further indulge in my own addiction to fashion!

As the lady says; 'Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.' ~ Coco-Chanel

With this, let us begin...
